How we got our start?
A simple idea with a simple goal. The world of hardware can be daunting to anyone not in-the-trade and, even for those in the trade, it can be hard to find what you need quickly. Product Description


A fastener with a threaded hole, used in conjunction with a matching bolt / machine screw to fasten multiple parts together. The parts are kept together by a combination of their threads' friction (including a slight elastic deformation), and compression of the parts to be held together.

Although they can be used alone they are also often used to double-lock a fastener in combination with other nuts. "tr" "td" "span" Standard Nuts with an integral nylon ring that deforms when fitted to provide extra grip and prevent loosening without tools. "tr" "td" "span" Standard Hex Nuts but with extra points on the surface to which welds can be placed for a permanent attachment. "tr" "td" "span" Also known as "Pal" nuts. A very thin type of nuts that can be used in tight spaces and deforms on use to lock in place. "tr" "td" "span" Typical Hex nuts that include an integrated washer (flange) that helps increase the surface grip area. The flange can be plain (smooth) or serrated (which provides even more grip).

Commonly used for applications where the fixing has to be regularly removed. "tr" "td" "span" Mainly used in woodwork and furniture to provide a threaded socket in a pre-drilled hole. The tines bite in to the wooden surface during fitting to provide a strong connection. "tr" "td" "span" Sometimes known as 'Acorn' nuts these are used to both lock fasteners in place and provide a more finished (rounded) appearance for protruding threads.

Stainless (A4-306) A more advanced type of Stainless Steel that is suitable for direct contact with salt-water (Sometimes known as 'Marine Grade').
Aluminium A non-magnetic metal that's very light and will not rust.

"tr" "td" "span" Expands when wet to form a tighter seal.
